Farmleigh House wordt gevormd door twee volledige woningen, die zijn onderverdeeld in kamers voor de gasten. In het woonhuis waarin wij een kamer hadden op de eerste etage was verder nog voor ons beschikbaar een gecombineerde keuken en leefruimte, die kon worden gebruikt door alle gasten in die woning. Onze kamer was zonder meer goed; van alle gemakken voorzien en uitgerust met een prima badkamer. Parkeerruimte is er rondom het huis meer dan voldoende. Het is even een flinke wandeling van het huis naar het centrum van de stad, maar zeer goed te doen. Ga vooral ook eten in The Harbour Restaurant & Bar, dat kennelijk een zakelijke band heeft met Farmleigh House; het eten is er heel goed!

Brilliant location, close to main road, well signposted and easy to find. The place was clean, check in was straightforward (call required to owner upon arrival). Bed was comfortable, small ensuite with good shower.

Located a short drive from town, this guest house was just as beautiful as the photos display. We had a contactless booking and had an immediate response when we checked in without a booking (impromptu decision). The room and house were immaculate. Beautiful colour decor in the room, relatively small but comfy and fine for a night or 2. Had a well equipped kitchen downstairs for guests use and that made it fantastic! We were able to cook dinner, and then make breakfast and sandwiches the next day. We met a few other guests who were lovely. This hotel is the cheapest one we stayed in in the whole UK and was one of the BEST! Thankyou so much.

The toilet wasn't functioning properly as it constantly ran with water after flushing. A minor problem that I'm sure the owner will sort quickly
