Location✅ - very convenient. Facilities✅ - super well-furnished and cosy. Feels like a home. Cleanliness✅ - the place is so clean. The cleaners did a fantastic job. It’s a very new place.

1. We were put in the unit facing the ongoing construction noise from 8am to 5.30pm. The walls are so thin. It was right outside our door. Upon check in at 3pm, we were told by the staff to “just bear with the noise”. We were unable to conduct our online meetings with clients due to the ongoing drilling noise. It’s not a restful place at all. We went out immediately to the mall just to wait till the workers were done for the day. Even on the next day, Saturday, there was construction noise from the expansion project. Someone was hammering away at 8am. How can guests rest? A noise barrier should be put up. No construction should be done on the weekend. 2. The management didn’t inform us about a city-wide scheduled power cut for the weekend - essentially the duration of our stay. We found out from our friends. Though the place was super well-furnished with great appliances, we weren’t able to use any of them since there is no backup generator on site. As someone who works remotely, I booked the place because it looked conducive and boasted good wifi signal - a perfect environment IF it’s working… Again, our online meetings with clients were affected. We had to go to a mall as the blackout was from 7.30am to 5.30pm. Did I get my money’s worth? No. Sadly. I also contacted Booking.com for a refund. Have not yet heard from them yet. Until the construction is over, I wouldn’t recommend staying there. You will have to spend the entire day outside because of the relentless construction noise and if there is no wifi, the data signal is only one bar at that place, so you can’t even use your devices for leisure… 3. If you are tall, you will find the bed to be too short. I’m 1.6m and my feet were dangling off the edge of the bed.

Hot water, full kitchen facilities with 4 gas burner, large refrigerator, nice smart TV, clothes washer and good a/c.

The location is quiet but long walk to stores and Robinsons Mall.

This was my third stay at Santiago Inn, and it is super clean, centrally located, and equipped with everything you need. The reliability of the internet connection here is one of the best I’ve experienced anywhere in Palawan (considering it being a remote island) — fast, stable, and perfect for remote work, streaming, or staying connected with loved ones. It has full amenities, including a fridge, a kitchen, and a washing machine, which made my stay extra convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Highly recommended for comfort, value, and top-notch service!
