The Nook

I stayed in The Nook for work, but would definitely return for a holiday. Hugh was an outstanding host, checking in with me if I needed anything. The Nook is an outstanding little house with all you would need for your stay. It's located in idyllic scenery, with lots to explore around.

Excellent location as a base for hiking as there are several great hikes within 20min to 30 min drive away. Walking distance to town and Kilbroney Park. Excellent self catering facilities with a lovely welcome pack and a shop 1min walk away for all your needs. Parking on drive way.

Absolutely perfect spot. The place has been completed to an exceptional standard. The host was the most accommodating I've dealt with. And little touches like fresh bread and milk just sealed the deal. If you want a hideaway close to Rostrevor town/Kilbroney/Warrenpoint look no further!

Unreal ! Will be back ASAP. Maddie and Hugh can't fault them, beautiful people and beautiful place, scenery is next to non 😍

It was SO well appointed. It had everything for a very comfortable stay

Met Hugh when we parked the car. Such a lovely gentleman. Made us feel at home.

love how remote is was, It was a stand alone building , Everything was laid out and lovely and clean After a long long day in the car, it was great to just walk to the building , no checking bags etc First thing was small lovely kitchen area, with full facilities, stocked bread butter jam and a toaster.. Tea bags and milk and cereal all laid out. Also nice table area where we ate a late meal. Working TV and king size bed, so comfortable , to just rest in Also the shower was perfect ,, washed the day way .... Cant say enough good things about the Nook.. it was perfect for us

I can not say anything bad about the Nook

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Nook. It is a lovely self contained unit, very well equipped and spotless. It has its own little outside space - we enjoyed having our breakfast alfresco as weather was fab during our stay. Hosts are lovely and very helpful. We would highly recommend the Nook for a few days stay in this beautiful part of the country at any time of the year.
