GBThe whole place was great
GBIt is a lovely self contained unit that met our needs perfectly. There was good communication from the owner, Chris, prior to our arrival,providing all the necessary information. I believe it would make an excellent base during the summertime, due to the lovely self contained space outside the Snug. Ample seating and a lovely BBQ for your summer BBQ’s. There are slight negative points, especially if you wish to hire during the Winter season. It can take quite a while to warm up the living/kitchen area. The radiator alone, is not sufficient to warm the accommodation. I couldn’t fathom out how to work the heater in the bedroom, but that’s probably me. The Snug does not provide towels. It probably says this in the documentation, which I failed to read/notice. On a personal note, I would have liked a much bigger Duvet cover, as when my wife turns over in bed, I was left with very little. It’s big enough for small thin people, but us older pensioners like to keep warm. The lovely armchairs in the photo, have been replaced by a sofa bed. Convenient if you have a child with you. Overall, a lovely self contained unit that was clean and met our needs at an excellent price. A parking space was made available for us. Thank you Chris.
The only thing that was a slight bugbear, was the fact that there is no sink in the bathroom. Due to the compact size, there is no space for it, so you have to use the kitchen sink for hand washing, brushing teeth etc.
GBThe kitchenette was, for want of a better word, filthy. The dishcloth looked liked someone had washed the floor with it and the sink area didn't look like it had been cleaned for a long time. There was no duvet cover and a call with Chris determined that it was in the tumble dryer, somewhere else. He didn't offer to get it and bring it to us. Luckily we were visiting family and they let us borrow bedding.
