USWe absolutely loved the authentic home feel and coziness of the cottage. The wood stove kept us warm and dry while the winter solstice storms passed. The kitchen was well stocked allowing us a big pot of soup and other home cooked meals
There was nothing we did not like. It was hard to leave

DEUSUSLiked that it was kind of isolated but close to where we wanted to be. The owner was very kind and hospitable. He made sure that we had plenty of coffee before our arrival. Liked that there were not a lot of rules posted up to do this or not do that like you see with AirBNB.
The furniture was not comfortable, especially the sofa. The bed was hard. The kitchen had no dishwasher so had to hand wash all the dishes we used. The shower was awkward to use. The shelving was awkward to reach plates/bowls/etc for someone who it not tall. We came during the off season so I would have expected to have the house heat turned on prior to our arrival.
