The Wandering Donkey Guest House

It’s a lovely quiet place to stay. The accommodation is ok but could be a lot better. Sarah was really pleasant and upsold the property’s services.

We were checked in not given any information or key for the property if we would like to get out at night. There was not enough toilet paper no information on the room on how to access a hair dryer no bin provided other than in the toilet and some of the decorations in the room were quite dusty which for someone with allergies could be a problem. Overall the price was ok, but the service could be a lot better. For two people staying would be nice to have more than a small sachet of shampoo, also having a kettle in the room would have been nice.

Too much outside light

Härligt lantligt i vackra omgivningar. Värden gav ett varmt välkomnande och tipsade om restauranger och sevärdheter. Rymligt rum med naturen utanför fönstret.

I några vrår och hörnen kunde det varit bättre städat men över lag var allt rent och fräscht.

Lovely host and easy check in and out.

The bath was difficult to regulate the temperature. I would have liked to have a shower available as the bath was not practical. No hairdryer available.

I arrived on the evening of storm Bam! There was a power cut. Sarah messaged me in time to relocate. I decided to go anyway. Sarah appreciated no access to food locally and provided home made soup. Excellent. Also torches! The place is beautiful and spotless. I will be back next monnth!

The power cut --- but well beyond your control! The last question is ironic!!!
