Cosy Two bedroom Apartment in Manchester

Owner of the property was very late to meet with keys which made us late for a booking we had Owner very rude and not understanding Owner took additional £30 for an additional person to stay and didn’t provide a place for the additional person to sleep Owner wanted £20 for us to check in 1 hour early and then owner didn’t arrive on time for us to check in Meeting place and car park details not clear enough Beds not clean Bedding had stains on Felt ripped off and fraud with the £30 cash payment on arrival Owner would not refund and didn’t provide additional place to sleep Owner called me on way gone unhappy that I left the keys with reception Would NOT return and would NOT recommend

2 bedrooms each with bathroom was great. Good location for AO arena. 20 minute walk to downtown. Parking at nearby church was good and reasonably priced.

Having to coordinate with host to get keys was problematic as we wanted to change meeting time to an hour earlier but he wasn’t contactable for several hours on the day and then was 20 minutes late to originally scheduled meeting time. It wouldn’t be too much an issue other than we were having to be somewhere else. Much better if can access keys via lockbox without having to meet. Building sign stated property wasn’t meant to have overnight rentals so this seems to be why meeting in person to gain access is required. Place was too warm on 24 deg day and had to wedge chair in balcony door to let air in. Opened bedroom window but then it was noisy from heavy traffic on street below. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends.

Great location with an easy walk into the city centre and easy to find parking locally.

Perfect location for visiting the AO Arena. Apartment was clean and comfortable. No hot water on arrival so couldn't take a bath but the chap did say sorry and explain how to turn this on so we managed to have a lovely hot shower in the morning. We were given a extra time in the room as the concert wasn't until later and the apartment wasn't booked that night, but it was suggested that we should pay a tip for this so do be careful if you are accepting any gratuity as it may not be free. The apartment was well equipped and had absolutely everything you needed. They had obviously listened to feedback from past reviews as had put a mirror in the bedroom etc. It was a very hot night and was too noisy to sleep with the windows open as the apartment is on the side of a very busy road so we only managed a couple of hours. Good central location for exploring Manchester. Vending machines in the lobby for midnight snacks.

Key pick up isn't easy. A post code isn't detailed enough. We accidentally drove past and had to drive all the way around again in heavy traffic. The man who was supplying the keys was unhappy that we were late and threatened to charge us an extra £30, which spoiled the start of our stay as I was upset by this. There was a smell of BO across the top of my quilt cover, which made me think the bed might have been slept in already??? Black mold in ice-cube tray in freezer.
