Ideal location for the area, we were visiting Stamford and Rutland Water. The pub was extremely comfortable. The staff very friendly and maintained excellent communication when there was a delay with our evening meal being served, which when it arrived was very enjoyable and good value. Breakfast was including in the cost of the room and was also good value and again the staff were extremely efficient and paid attention to small details. I would happily stay there again and recommend.

Very good large bedroom. Plenty of parking. Nice village location. Well stocked bathroom. Comfortable bed.

The dining room was very pleasant but the meal was very average. Breakfast was also average. Not much choice for the continental breakfast, though we didn't try the cooked breakfast so can't comment on that.

What an amazing find, the quality of the food is amazing, the friendliness of the staff makes you feel welcome and the cleanliness of the entire building and facilities is faultless.
