The AC but only in the living room

Second stay here. Was giving it another chance. Mistake. So I don't know what " housekeeping" does but its not much. Dead bugs all around the house. Big dead spider on the rug by the front door that was there on my first stay. The towels are disgusting. If they have black and red stains just get rid of them. Roaches. Not just one or two but 5. Killed 3 of them the other two somehow disappeared. The TV stand/fire place? Looks like it was found in a dumpster. The sheets stink. I was questioning if they were the same ones from a week prior. The fridge has something wrapped in plastic wrap that was in there before my first stay and is still there. Every day more little bugs come crawling out of the bottom of the toilet. No smoke alarms at all. That is a fine in madera country I hope you know. There are probably more but the thing that made it completely uncomfortable was the code for the front door was the same as my first stay. Pretty sure you need to update it when someone checks out. Anyone who stayed there before can easily go back and do what ever they want. Never coming back

Driveway to myself (when other tenant doesn't take the driveway that leads to MY door) AC and fan, full kitchen.

Stains on rug, strange smell, clogged shower, toilet isn't bolted down, bedroom gets extremely hot, bedding smelled, over grown dead grass around property, pots were warped and didn't sit flat on stove, dead bugs around the living area and kitchen

Easy with the doorcode, Got a message on the day of arrival, I had to ask again via text message, because of data-roaming issues with my phone. Got the door Code as text message within minutes. Wonderful experince of "living in America in a real house". Very clean, comfortable. quite neighbourhood, across the road from a school.

Beautiful home, the owner was very good with communication and our stay was wonderful!

Nothing bad to say, areas were clean and spacious

A noise at living room after flashing toilet and no hand soap

My family had booked a stay at this house. When we arrived, it quickly became clear that the house had previously been the subject of thefts or home jackings and that we were on the verge of experiencing one as well …: 1. A very clear alert message noted on the door by the owner … “Do not open this door to any stranger/person you don’t know!” (see photo 1) 2. Camera and motion detectors that burglars or homejackers had covered with paint during previous attempts (photo 2) 3. Windows that had been permanently obscured (photo 3) ... We were there for only an hour that a very aggressive woman with strange attire, behavior, and speech knocked on our door, then hid, and claimed to be “waiting for someone” when we talked to her through the window… No way she was waiting for someone in front of our house, which is 20 m away from the road, and isolated from other houses ... She left after having taken various photos of us (see photos 4 and 5). It seemed more than probable that she was scouting the place and its occupants. We had no choice but to leave the house immediately to protect ourselves and urgently and expensively find hotels to accommodate us for those two nights ... The owner of the house pretended many things regarding these elements, all of them being scraps / not possible. Also to mention: a horrible smell of urine in one of the bedrooms + a toilet completely blocked when we arrived, with no possibility of solving the issue easily Awfull experience that spoiled a part of our stay in the region, and could probably habe been worse should have we stayed in the house

Convenient location based on our final destination. Air conditioner was good. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and comforter were nice and clean.

The carpets were very dirty, there was mold and mildew in the shower. There were only 2 pillows on the bed, the throw pillow on the bed was not clean. Only 3 small bath towels, no face or hand towels. The walls and light switch plates were dirty. The couch is in need of replacement soon, I don’t weigh more than 145 pounds and when I sat on it, i immediately sunk in. Overall, It didn’t feel at all clean and comfy.
