Hakuba Sea2Summit Hostel

Location is great the free buses pick up just in front of Jaja convenience store and there is lots of restaurants around (make sure you book reservations even for singles) . And the V2 line is close by as well. Staff were also super wonderful and helped wherever they could. Facilities are clean but dated.

The internet was horrible. I stayed in both room 7 and 9 and everyone in both rooms complained about the internet in the afternoons when everyone was back from skiing room 7 didnt have any internet half the time. Alot of us were foreigners with limited data and some people needing to work still while on holiday so not being able to use the internet was a bit rough. We just went to the calico Cafe in the afternoon and used their internet instead. The upstairs bathrooms were a bit uncomfortable to use especially when the guy in the stall next to you is having a well unpleasant experience. The downstairs bathroom design was significantly better and I used those for the majority of my stay.

Awesome location and super friendly staff. Great hostel.

The showers needed somewhere to put your towel/clothes that was dry, or maybe curtains so you would not be seen undressed if someone opened the main door.

The location was good! Just a walk from a bunch of cafes and bars.

The rooms were VERY cramped. Temperature control was a mess. The bathrooms were few and cold while the sinks were automatic and the sensors were tough to get working. Staff were nice but almost TOO chill.
