Beautiful location, very well maintained and reserved

Given the age of the house it’s understandable but one bedroom floor was so sloped the bed was angled

Loved the original features, the log burner, the kitchen which had everything you could possibly need. The bathrooms were extremely well appointed, loads of hot water. The beds were very comfortable with lovely bedding. The location was perfect with a great pub across the road and only a short walk into the heart of Keswick. There was an issue with the boiler before we arrived, however, the communication was excellent, we were given other options, and fortunately the issue was all sorted.

The photos do make the rooms look larger, however the size of them was more than adequate. A little bit cool in the main bedroom but it was a frosty few days. That room was also quite on a slope which is fine if you don't mind that.

Floors were very wonky. Six beds but not enough living space for six people. House was freezing when we arrived, took a long time to warm up and then we could not turn the radiator in one of the bedrooms down - so got too hot.

A lot of cobwebs and dog hair on furniture

Great location, just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Great kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook. The cottage was spotlessly clean. The uneven floors took a bit of getting used to, but definitely adds to the character of the cottage. Will definitely stay again.

The toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom needs attention as it is loose.

Very uneven floors due to property age, difficult to mobilise around the property if you have any mobility issues, I would have preferred to know this before booking the property. The bathroom sink tap either doesn’t run much or soaks you (a little stiff). The main window in the lounge, the curtain pole was hanging out of the wall. Needs a little bit of TLC but these are the only issues, everything else was lovely!
