Good location.

Now where do we start? From the moment we arrived, it was one problem after the other. We have holidayed continuously for the past 15 years in UK accommodation and this is the only negative review we've had to make. After a six-hour drive, we didn't receive the parking arrangements until 3.50pm (check in was 3pm) and when we arrived at the car park round the corner, another car was parked in our space because, as admitted by Tom, he'd not arranged a space for us. Luckily there happened to be one space left which we then occupied. On arrival, the front door was unlocked. We were then unable to close it because it was severely misaligned. The property is on a very busy main road. We phoned Tom who said the landlord is already aware of it and just suggested we should slam it. This didn't work and so he sent someone around to fix it around an hour later. Crumbs, hair and old food in the kitchen drawers, fridge and cupboard. Smears and old food in the microwave. Dust on most surfaces. Limescale in both toilets and the bathroom sink. Filthy, stained carpets and rug with ingrained dirt and which weren't vacuumed properly. Shower not draining so it was ankle deep. Both windows in our daughter's room wouldn't open. The contents of the dishwasher full and needing to be put away. The hob would work with only a few of the pans (other pans provided which were unusable). To cap it all, a pile of dirty underwear and socks in one of the bedroom drawers. See my photos. Because of the issues and with it needing a deep clean, we couldn't unpack until the afternoon of day two. Even after the supposed deep clean, there was a big toe nail on the lounge floor. Many more things which are the basics.
