It was very luxurious. The guest lounge was very cozy and comfortable. There was a lovely log fire which our host kept going for us. The honesty bar was most welcome. This was a very comfortable, welcoming place to stay and it was only a five minute walk to a nearby pub for a very tasty evening meal. We will definitely stay here again and have already recommended here to our family and friends.

A pure gem. The hosts were so lovely, the room very comfortable, breakfast was absolutely delicious with an excellent selection and gorgeous view of the river. The honour bar was a wonderful surprise, having an evening drink in front of the open fire was so relaxing and a perfect way to end the day exploring the most beautiful countryside. Would stay there again and again if we didn't live on the other side of the world!!

What a find! Lovely room with an incredibly comfortable bed & big powerful shower; a cosy warm guest sitting room with a log burner & a plentiful & delicious breakfast. Kathryn & Kevin are terrific hosts & were very helpful when our plans for the day went awry … thank you!

Great location, comfortable bed,very welcoming, breakfast great loads of choice excellent quality.

Walls are very thin, we could hear the people coughing etc and using the bathroom in the next room.

Excellent location and room. Best breakfast of any hotel in the same price range in the last 10 years. Owners very amiable. Drying room worked fast - wet from 2 hrs fishing in the rain! All as described.

Missing a washing flannel in the bathroom.
