Toilet was blocked on the ground floor and shower head on the ground floor was broken

Very spacious and modern, had everything you would need, even a flash light which I forgot to bring for our walk back from our meal at the old forge which i would recommend, had lovely weather so was able to enjoy the outdoor terrace. Already booked again for next year

Comfortable sofas. Good sized bedrooms. Ample crockery and cutlery. Convenient charging point for the car.

Great central location. Lovely cottage with everything that you need. This was the cleanest place that we’ve stopped in so far. Loved the outdoor area with an extremely well kept floral gardens, nice to see a wide variety of small garden birds in the morning. No noise whatever, very peaceful Nice farm shops, tea rooms and places to eat near. Hosts were absolutely brilliant! Even ordered a little hamper for my child. Everything we needed was already in reach so didn’t have to ask for anything. They had a little stand with apples and plums grown in the orchard next to the cottage, all eggs and little plants which I thought was cute and made me smile. Liked the bbqs there too, we toasted marshmallows at night with a mug of hot chocolate. Flambourgh head was only 5 minutes away as was Bridlington! Ours had two bedrooms each with a double bed, one had two singles as well as the double too. One of the mattresses was pretty hard and gave us both backache so we just swapped rooms, maybe needs a topper? As the other was beautiful and comfy and we had the best nights sleep on it, We didn’t let that spoil anything as the cottage was fantastic as were the hosts. Couldn’t fault it and we will be back! Even the husband was impressed which takes a lot! I’d definitely recommend! Thank you so much for out wonderful stay!

Excellent location, relatively comfortable, relatively well equipped.

Beds were not comfortable, the welcome park was pretty stingy, and the attitude of the owner when we reported an issue on the first night was frankly awful. The owners have responded and, due to a number of inaccuracies, amended their response. in my opinion, it still does not accurately reflect the reality, so would encourage all travellers to avoid these properties.
