This was a unique experience. Quality bedding and towels. The bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely toiletries. Bath in the room was amazing. Plenty of hot water. Heating was very effective in the bedroom. Tele was great quality. Plenty of space to hang clothes. Good food in the restaurant. Staff were amazing .. sorted out parking (£15) and free drink on arrival. Carried our cases to the room. Explained about kitchen closing on a Sunday night at 6pm. If you like alcohol.. plenty of choice in the room fridge… but you pay for it of course.

The shower room was cold due to the single glazed window which was draughty. But we covered it with the dressing gowns and used the bath instead of the shower. Start the bath running 15minutes before you need it and it will fill slowly due to low water pressure. Once filled it’s amazing . There is a fridge with a blue light shining into the bed room.. we covered this whilst sleeping and it was not a problem.

Lovely bar, staff incredibly friendly. Room was aesthetically pleasing, fortunately got a free upgrade on our room which was nice.

The room we stayed in was freezing. Tried to use unit to warm up but did not work. Not to sound dramatic but it felt as if we were sleeping outside it was that cold.

Good size room with unusual decor. Friendly staff and lovely bar restaurant area. Would definitely use again. Bed was very comfortable with quality linen.

Quite a bit of road noise but that’s to be expected in a prime location. Breakfast times are unusually late.

Very quirky, lovely glass of fizz on arrival and professional staff

The room was sooo cold on arrival and although we set the heater it took hours to heat up. Also unfortunately despite beautiful heavy curtains and shutters because we were facing the high street the noise was unbelievable you could even hear people talking on the street! Secondary glazing essential to make this warmer and quieter,
