Royal House holiday home

Flat is basic but very functional. Beds very good.Views.a bit blocked by other buildings but remain great. Marco is a splendid person. Always helpful, great guy to talk with (if you understand a bit Italian) Thanks Marco!

The owners were friendly and very helpful. Location was good, with restaurants close by. Beach a 20 minute walk. Brand new kitchen and nice patio for sitting out on.

The only thing I would mention is that the photo on the booking.com site , showing a view of the ocean, is a little misleading…the place has apartments three levels and only the top level has that view. Perhaps this was mentioned in the detailed descriptions of the apartments.

Lovely location off the main street . It was so peaceful. Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen with washing machine, large fridge freezer and microwave. Lovely terrace with table chairs and sun loungers and beautiful sea view. However what made our holiday was the unbelievable kindness of Marco. An absolute gentleman who goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are happy. He has a passion for the whole area and you can see how proud he is of it's beauty. As older guests we appreciated so much him picking us up and dropping us back to the train station, carrying our bags, taking us to the supermarket and especially to see the sunset from a beautiful nearby Lido. All with a cheerful attitude and a ready smile. We told him he was the nicest person we have met in 45 years of travelling around Italy and it's true.

There are lots of steps but it keeps you fit! We procrastinated about taking Marco's 2 hour boat trip of the area and then decided too late so it wasn't possible to get aboard but we spoke to another couple who said it was fabulous....hopefully next year!
