Sandtorgholmen Hotel - Best Western Signature Collection

Great location, half an hour drive from Narvik airport on the way to the Lofoten islands. Sandtorgholmen is a lovely set of historic buildings located on the water’s edge. The bedrooms in the main building are cozy, like a ship’s cabin with great views over the water.

Both dinner and breakfast are served on a “help yourself” buffet style. Limited options for dinner (one meat and one vegan choice).

Good location for the airport, only 30 minute drive. Pleasant setting by the fjord. Satisfactory breakfast buffet.

We were expecting more having booked a quite expensive junior suite. It was a large room but the bed was two singles pushed together near the wall. There was a strange mix of antique and cheap plastic furniture. Nothing to make the room look inviting and no glasses provided in the bathroom. The bath was a roll top with only a hand-held shower. Overall look was dated which was a shame as the building was an old traditional manor house which could be very nice with some money spent on it. Very average buffet dinner, although not expensive.

Das Hotel ist super schön gelegen und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr lecker und auch Abends wird nochmal ein Buffet gegen Aufpreis angeboten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Unser Zimmer war recht klein - für eine Nacht aber völlig ausreichend.

Rooms were very noisy, could hear sounds from neighboring rooms.

Nous avons très bien dormi dans une sorte de cabane très dépaysante. Le matelas était très confortable. Le restaurant le soir est un confort supplémentaire. La vue est très belle aussi.

Il manquait un peu de petit déjeuner sucré.

A hearty and varied breakfast, a picturesque and accessible location, the atmosphere of a family home, and beautiful views out the window.

I am trying to find some inconvenience or flaw, but I can't manage.
