Casa Vida Alegre

As we were on Madeira for a week of hiking we chose to spend two nights on the west of the Island . Prazeres is ideally situated for this as it is a short ride to the 25 Fontes, Levada Nova and Moinho hikes as well as to the Fanal Forest. Also to Port Moniz and the fantastic look out at the Ponta da Pargo lighthouse. The room is spacious and has an accompanying sun room facing west for great sunset views. Even has a telescope for star gazing. On arrival there was a bottle of wine cheese and crackers awaiting. Also on arrival we did a wash and dry of our clothes on site- no charge. As others have mentioned Sarah and John are amazing hosts- no request too big. Their recommendations for local restaurants were spot on for us- within 15 minutes - great food and eating with mainly locals. At breakfast we so enjoyed our chats about Madeira and other matters and were sorry we had to leave to get on the hiking trails early. Breakfast made on the spot and we were allowed to take what was left to take on our hikes for lunch. After a two day stay we left feeling like friends for life

To idealne miejsce na kameralny pobyt na wyspie. Sypialnia była przestronna, starannie przygotowana, dodatkowo pokój dzienny do wyłącznej dyspozycji z oszałamiającym widokiem na ocean. Właściciele to cudowni, bardzo życzliwi ludzie. Dbają o najmniejsze detale podczas pobytu. Zawsze chętnie doradzą, gdzie zaparkować, co zobaczyć, jak dojechać i oczywiście, gdzie dobrze zjeść i wypić. W ich domu można się poczuć jak u rodziny, bo tak traktują swoich gości. Śniadania bardzo smaczne, dostosowane w 100 % do wymagań gości - polecamy omlety Pana Domu. Polecamy to miejsce!

Total liebe Gastgeber*innen mit tollen Tipps. Man hat einfach ein gutes Gefühl dort zu sein. Auch der Hund ist total süß und lieb. Das Frühstück ist Klasse (hier wird auch auf besondere wünsche eingegangen).

Chambre chez l’habitant, John et Sara sont très accueillant, la chambre est spacieuse, véranda et terrasse réservées à votre usage, petites attentions d’accueil, petit déjeuner copieux et personnalisé, produits frais, de nombreux restaurants dans prazeres. Très bien placé pour l’Ouest de l’île.

Le brouillard 🤣… juste une journée visibilité zéro… séjour en janvier… normal 😜
