"Lovely big house, with large bedrooms."

The whole experience but especially Jim the owner who really went out of his way to make sure everything was ok. Even used his own car to take us to the nearest town, would not let us book a taxi.

Jim was an exceptional host and the house was brilliant

An unfortunate boiler fault left the night cold and no hot water but these things happen. The room locks are all the same, which leaves security a bit questionable. You can hear guests in the next room but its a old home, so can't really be helped I guess.
