Dark and dreary Straight onto main road No back garden to sit out in Parking Poor Breakfast non existent Steep climb to 3rd bedroom

It was perfectly adequate for what we wanted. We could take our dog (£30 extra) which was important to us. Nice to have milk and some provisions included.

The booking experience was very poor. We were not able to get details of how to gain access until we were three of the way to the property. Communication was very poor from both the owners and, especially, Booking.com. The experience of having to use AI to communicate is appalling and will definitely put me off using Booking.com in the future.

Lovely House. Walking Distance to the centre, 45 Minutes to the airport. Lovely host who was available right away when the key safe didn't open.

We didn't find the hairdryer that was in the description. And it took us some time to figure out how to get a hot shower in the morning, but we finally managed... Sorry if we misread the instructions! The staircase is extremely steep, so not advisable if you have trouble climbing stairs, especially to the third room in the top floor - but we got there and back ;-)

The property cancelled on us the day of our booking with no explanation which is unacceptable when people take limited time off work for a holiday--which we booked way back in January to go away in April. This has happened to other customers using this property as well. I personally think Booking.com should ban them from the site for doing this. Avoid at all costs.

Very well equipped and nicely decorated house. Good rooms and comfortable beds. Plenty of supplies for breakfast and hot drinks.

Unfortunately I am unable to review this property as the host cancelled our booking the day before we were due to arrive. I had messaged with an enquiry earlier in the week and didn’t get a response, then received an email from booking to say that the reservation was cancelled the day before. This really left us in a bit of a dilemma as has less than 24 hours to rearrange our plans.

Beautiful cottage like home, very warm and inviting.
