Casa Vacanze Imera House

Casa accogliente e pulita..Marzia gentilissima. Non mancava niente. La consiglio sicuramente per una buona vacanza a Palermo.

The property is close to fantastic shops. We could run across the street and get very fresh breads, cheeses, meats and amazing pastries. Next door is a fruit and vegetable shop with very fresh produce. The highlight of my trip was the little boiled potatoes you could get, right out of the water, into a heavy paper cone. Delicious and so good after eating too much pasta. The property is close enough to all the “hotspot” areas so cabs aren’t necessary. There is a school next door and while the neighbourhood may look a bit run down, it’s actually pretty middle class. No issues with noise, everyone polite. Our host was very kind and let us drop off our luggage early. The condo is clean and the kitchen well equipped with what you need for simple cooking. A note to anyone with mobility issues however. While there is an elevator, it only goes to the second floor so you’ll have to lift your suitcase(s) up a narrow stairwell which was difficult for my husband. Other than that, lovely.

Elevator only goes up to second floor. My bed was uncomfortable as I like softer mattresses. In fairness, our friend loved his firm mattress.

Het appartement is proper, en de communicatie met de eigenaars via whats'app was erg snel. Ligt ideaal tov het centrum. Op wandelafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden. we brachten hier samen met zoon en zijn vriendin 4 heerlijke dagen door. Palermo is geweldig ( diverse soorten buurten ). Het appartement zelf ligt in een minder toeristische wijk, maar alles bij de hand. Ideaal om tussen de verkenning van de stad door, wat boodschapjes te doen, even uit te rusten van de wandelingen doorheen de stad. Toplocatie, weg van de toeristische drukte, en toch vlakbij alles

The apartment was very clean, aesthetically very pleasant, in a quiet neighborhood, abt 10' on foot away from the city center. It had a supermarket abt 8' on foot away. The A/Cs were working fine, the bathrooms had whatever was needed. Overall a nice pleasant stay.

The kitchen did not have the necessary equipment, which was important for us as we had to make breakfast for our kids. For example it did not have even one pan to make fried eggs. Also no olive oil.
