Two Double Bed Apartment in Pontprennau Cardiff

L'appartement est spacieux.

Il n'y avait que 3 grandes assiettes pour une famille de 4 et très peu de couverts également - 3 petites cuillères. Il a fallu demander un "surplus" de vaisselle. La propriétaire m'a dit que j'avais réservé 1 seule chambre dans tout l'appartement alors que nous étions 4 et que j'avais réservé un appartement complet comme d'habitude, sans me poser de questions. Dans cet appartement, la propriétaire applique visiblement 2 tarifs différents selon que l'on réserve 1 ou 2 chambre(s) ! Idem pour la machine à laver qui est dans l'appartement : il est possible de l'utiliser moyennant un forfait supplémentaire !Nous nous sommes donc abstenus... Nous avons l'habitude de louer des appartements mais c'est bien la 1ère fois que l'on rencontrait des règles aussi bizarres. On a vraiment eu l'impression d'être pris pour des pigeons et gardons un très mauvais souvenir de cette location. Si toutefois nous revenons à Cardiff, nous serons heureux de tester un nouvel endroit ! Par ailleurs, il n'y a pas d'ascenseur dans l'immeuble. Enfin, c'est très éloigné du centre.

Beautiful, nice and clean and well facilitated

The bathroom door didn’t close and travelling as the only female in the group I had little to no privacy I would suggest they fix the door asap as having a door that shuts/locks on a bathrooms it’s the basics

I booked this flat because we had stayed in the area previously on a visit to family in Cardiff so it made sense to re-book for my recent trip. The flat is spacious, comfortable and modern with good facilities; the beds are very comfortable. Parking is available although it a a bit of a squeeze (I drive a Renault Captur). The location is close (but not too close) to major routes in the area so it is easy to reach. There is a good Waitrose a few minutes walk away as well as a Lidl and Asda. Overall, I would be happy to book this accommodation again in future.

Not a complaint but a small quibble. The kitchen is well equipped but it seemed that there were fewer items of crockery and cutlery than I thought were necessary to get a 4* in this area of the survey. As I say it is only a small quibble so don't let that put you off from renting this flat. It is very good in every other respect.

The area was nice, quiet and close to supermarkets and some food outlets. The apartement was clean and tidy and had sufficient facilities.

We hadn't received the code for the lockbox before arrival and had to contact them. The response was quick, but should not have been necessary. The bathroom door was broken and would not close due to the door being swollen. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Given the high rating, I expected a little bit more from this booking. It was quite a drive into Cardiff City Centre - but that's on me for choosing that location.

Very comfortable, clean and spacious! Easy to get to the city centre from.

Lovely flat. Nicely furnished. Location was great for using the buses which ran regularly until late at night. Good to have a dedicated parking space too. Easy short walk to the local pub and supermarkets. Also next door to EV fast chargers at the Tesla garage which can be used by all car makes.

Would prefer a king size bed.
