Entire Coastal Home in Connemara Ireland

I spent Christmas with my family in TamiJoy and Rocky's wonderful home in Connemara. From start to end it was a great experience. Communication was fast and helpful in advance of arrival. Once we arrived we were blown away by the facilities. It was without doubt the best equipped rental we had ever stayed in. All of the appliances and kitchenware were top notch and there was everything you would need for Christmas family holiday. And it's walkig to the sea! Perfect for a christmas swim! We were greeted by wine, coffee, milk and delicious home made cake and a house beautifully decorated for Christmas in every room. Couldn't recommend this beautiful holiday home more and thank you to TamiJoy and Rocky for making it so special.

The only thing I could say here is that while it's advertised as a 5 bedroomed house, it's actually 4 bedrooms and a pullout on a landing. The landing area is very well equipped with bedding and TV so perfect for a child or teenager, but not a private area.

We liked a lot of things in the house. First walking to a bottle of wine and a crate of egg was pretty chill. The facility was top notch, easy to find and use. The house was fancy too. The heating, the kitchen… everything was user friendly. The house was fit for purpose. We wanted a house to stay away from the city for 3 night, and we did not have any distraction as well as it was way out of the city.

While I considered the fact that it being away from the city to be great, most of my friends found it too far from town, and the closest shop was about 21 minutes drive from the house. Popping out to buy stuff was not very much of an option.

Well equipped with lots of homey touches, books, games, artwork made it feel like home not a rental property.

A little challenging to drive to but a fun adventure

The house was Beyond amazing & surpassed our expectations in every way. TamiJoy has thought of everything you may need in providing amenities. Kitchen was modern & welcoming to prepare our feast. Bedrooms & bathrooms plentiful for our family. Outdoor grilling day cancelled due to stormy weather.

Nothing 😍 Some may say the location is off the beaten path. But we love it.

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at this lovely, cosy home in the far, far West. Perfect for our family of seven – plus one of our dogs. It was spacious, comfortable, full of charm and home comforts. The house was well-equipped and felt like a true home away from home. Beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere made for a truly relaxing stay. Lots of scenic walks & drives close to the home.

The only real feedback is that it’s misleading to say ‘Pets Allowed’ as we were only able to bring one of our two dogs due to the owners policy.

This place was exceptional, modern with plenty character and real Irish country feel. Fully equipped and lacking nothing, some 5 star hotels could learn here. The host thought of everything and we felt really welcomed, great contact too.
