"The Wild Escape Farmhouse Retreat, Worth Every Step In"

10.0

On arrival, the cab dropped us where the road ends, and we carried ourselves the rest of the way through a forest path. But the moment the farmhouse comes into view, you stop minding entirely. It's a genuinely beautiful property. Fruit trees, flowers, birds going about their business like you're the guest (which, to be fair, you are). We got lucky with the rain, spent a good chunk of the afternoon in the basement on rocking chairs with tea, just watching it pour outside. No phone, no plans. Just the sound of rain on the trees. When it cleared, we walked the forest road and came across a small owl sitting nearby, completely unbothered. The caretaker had told us to be back before dusk because of the animals and the way they said it made it clear they weren't being dramatic. There's real wilderness around this place, which is part of the charm. The caretaker, showed us around, cooked us dinner without making a fuss about it, and even offered breakfast the next morning. We declined since we were eating on the way to the pickup but the offer alone said a lot. Oh, and the return cab? Pulled up right outside the farmhouse door. After walking in through the forest, that felt like a small luxury. Overall, the experience was great and the stay was comfortable. One night was not enough. We had to leave the next afternoon for the bus and left wishing we could stay an extra day. If you're going, build in more time than you think you need.

The one thing I'd love to see improved, a Signboard! There are no markers on the farmhouse or along the way, which made the first-time navigation through the forest road a little uncertain. Given how lovely the place is once you find it, it deserves to be easier to find. A small sign or two and it'd be perfect.

"Peaceful yet adventurous stay ."

10.0

The warmth and concern of the host, the efficient caretakers, the location which was very close to the Jim Corbett National Park and the architecture of the entire construction.

Every thing was perfect.
