Bumble Bee Cabin

Lovely setting,very clean and the hosts were brilliant. We arrived earlier than expected but there was no problem for us to go in and get settled in.

I didn't like the fact there wasn't a stove top or oven at first but further investigation revealed a airfryer which solved the issue. Plus there was a bbq and bbq equipment for us to use whenever we wanted.

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous. Very spacious for this kind of property, with a nice bathroom, well-equipped kitchenette and lots of comfort. The location is lovely, with countryside views to enjoy as the sun goes down and good walking and other activities within easy driving distance.

Nothing - it was really ideal. We have stayed in a lot of cabin and pod type properties over the years and this was the comfiest, best equipped and cleanest! A very relaxing stay.

Quiet, clean & cosy

Views & Very clean & quiet. + Large shower for a cabin! & with heated towel rail. Exceptional nice touches of milk, fruit, chocolate biscuits etc on arrival. Quite spacious with garden & view to mountain & even a sea view on a clear day! Smart TV and Google nest with decent WiFi. BBQ supplied with solid fuel was great facility. It was sunny & warm outside though. With patio chairs & table. + A nice hidden gem inside the cafe just up the road with excellent restaurant & traditional Sunday lunch option! Which also had a bar & gift shop.

Not much. No cooker or hob, but air fryer, toaster, microwave, sandwich toaster & outside BBQ great option. The closest local nature walk route to beach is a bit restricted through farms & overgrown unmaintained access so don't follow Apple maps! Local Beach could be improved but a good coastal walk, although nearby cycling shop appeared all closed up.

Beautiful location. Fantastic facilities. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely hosts. It’s those little touches 😊

Purely preference. It would have been nice if parking was set off to side of the cabin so as not to diminish the view. Again it’s preference. Some may like the fact vehicles can be parked directly outside front.

The cabin was just what I was looking for in a quiet area of Cumbria and it was spotless. The views were amazing
