Quiet and private villa with good access to amenities. Staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing really, just that the room is a little dark in the day, but it does help keep the room cool.

The villa was beautiful. It was tranquil and private. The gardens were lush and we certainly felt like we were in luxury and on holiday.

The villa was very traditional and had all the amenities.

The pool was very cold throughout the day even when the pumps were on, it would have been better if it could be heated!

We were staying at The Sanyas Suites but after 4 nights of no sleep we had to cut short our stay and were lucky enough to find this place for our last few nights. So many parts of Seminyak now are impacted from noisy nightclubs that literally vibrate the bed, let alone banging house music at 3am. Kubu Kayu villa is in a quieter part of Seminyak. Facilities are awesome! Dark at night. Quiet at night. Fantastic Cafe at the end of the street. Just wish we had stayed here the whole time. We will definitely be back. If this place is available for your stay - book it! You won't regret it.

Everything was awesome.

We stayed at the Gladak villa, which was perfect for the two of us. The villa itself was rustic (with a lot of traditional elements in its design, furnishings and fittings), gorgeous and clean; the pool was a decent size; the extra large bed on the wooden platform was comfortable (but creaky); and the bathroom was huge. We loved that the kitchen was al fresco which made chilling by the pool at night even better. Putra, who was in charge of our stay, kept checking in and was available on WhatsApp anytime which was great. Just outside the villa is an awesome restaurant, and within walking distance are numerous cafes, spas, and minimarts - really convenient.

Although there are plenty of good cafes and minimarts just outside, the villa is located in a rather busy area. Firstly, there are construction and build works surrounding the villa which would start at around 8am everyday. Then there are parties nearby the villa at night, with people drunk-singing karaoke within earshot. But I think the worst was getting out of the villa area/ out of Jl Batu Belig itself - traffic was horrendous and we would need 35-45 minutes just to get out of that long stretch of road to head out anywhere by car.

The architecture and the attention to details was amazing. The accommodation is just stunning. I have fallen in love with the Indonesian style, their use of wood and light cement. The staff was exceptional as well, really polite and accommodating. They even treated us with fresh coconuts!
