Luxury Exmoor Barn conversion with Sauna

Loved the rustic feel of the cottage. Fully equipped kitchen,everything was well thought out. The log burner was superb. Bedroom very comfortable and fantastic bathroom with sauna. Very dog friendly and in a great peaceful location.

Beautiful setting. Walk to the village along the river was a joy. Well placed for many areas on Exmoor to visit and walk. Jennie and Malcolm were really helpful and welcoming. The barn was cosy , bed really comfy. Everything had been thought out really well. A truly perfect break.

Hosts were very friendly and on hand if you needed them but not obtrusive. The location was great to get away from the world but not too far from localities. The converted barn was spacious and airy and very cosy . Wonderful !

Everything.. beautiful, thoughtfully designed throughout, including an amazing bedroom and bathroom. Top location, secluded and quiet. And dog friendly.

Really relaxed and dog friendly - a home from home

Liked it all - a heads up regarding ticks in the area if bringing a dog so can come protected and prepared.

The location is amazing. It's so quiet and peaceful yet only a short stroll into the village (and what a stroll, along the river Exe!). We were lucky to get one clear-ish night to appreciate a proper starry sky! The accommodation was very comfortable: cosy yet plenty spacious enough for two and very tastefully decorated - bags of character but with modern touches (electronically operated velux windows, sauna, lovely shower and excellent WiFi connection). It was extremely well equipped - we hardly needed anything we bought from home! The owners were the perfect hosts - gave us a very warm welcome but then left us to it: unobtrusive but there if we needed them. Thank you so much for the welcome bottle of wine and cakes :)
