It was cosy and convenient and pet friendly

The space for the toilet is abit tight but it was fine and the sliding door by the bed was interesting

"I found it easily after a day at bygone times antique store , came and got settled in .. it was a perfect little escape"

10.0

It was perfectly laid out and cosy in the evening , settled down with the fire on and a film on the tv !

The only grumble which was probably my own fault .. the bedroom was cold during the night as I could not figure how to put the heater on ! The thing that disappointed me the most .. I was only able to stay one night !! X

"Cheap self contained accommodation in a quiet setting near to good facilities and the benefits of city life. Windows nee"

5.0

The location near to Manchester and our relatives in the Ribble Valley was good, and it was quiet. The living/dining/kitchen area were cute and had good heating equipment, and a fan for warm weather (the sun makes the accom hot due to one wall being all glass windows/door) The big TV and comfy sofa were nice. The shower worked well, plenty hot water at the accommodation and bath towels and hand towels were provided. There was parking right outside and some garden furniture to use.

The track to the accommodation had deep potholes and some were impossible to avoid. The double bed was old with a base that didn’t match the size of the mattress. The bed and bedding seemed old and not of good quality (sheet, pillow covers, duvet cover) and there was no cover for the duvet I used for the sofa bed. When I unfolded the sofa bed there was dirt that had dropped down between the cushions and had not been cleaned. The main thing was that 2 of the windows (which are more like doors) did not close at the bottom or middle part of the mortice lock. I felt unsafe in the accommodation as a result (even though the place was quiet). I was there with my adult daughter and neither of us felt safe - I suggest it is a priority this is rectified especially for women who use the accommodation. Even though I am confident it is a safe area, the feeling that someone could easily force the door-like windows open made for 2 sleepless nights for me. Some of the kitchen equipment was very basic/poor quality, eg the cutlery and utensils - you can buy ones that are still cheap but of much better quality eg in Tesco) and there was no cheese grater which we missed as we had brought pasta to make a pasta dish which included grated cheese on top. We used the peeler instead, a stainless steel grater is cheap and doesn’t take up much space in the utensil drawer. The outside space could be made much nicer by just cutting the grass and clearing away unsightly materials. A gate would make the garden secure for those guests who bring their dog.

"Perfect overnight stay"

10.0

Great place for an overnight stay, cosy and had all essentials. Work seems to be still going on on the outside of the property which will be cool once completed. Great for what we needed with our two dogs.

Not a negative as it’s very clear on the listing but it is snug so something to keep in mind.

"Very accommodation for a short stay."

9.0

It is such a lovely property. Very homely and comfortable and perfect for visiting family nearby in Coppull. Kirsty was the perfect host.

We did have a problem with the WiFi connecting to tv but was nothing which couldn’t be overcome apart from that everything was great.
