Vila Vuk

Where do I even begin, this place was incredible. Trust me, I scrolled through about 100 properties in Žabljak to find this little gem, and it definitely lived up to the images and description. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, and the hosts had left thick, snuggly fleece blankets for us, such a thoughtful touch when it was snowy outside. Even with the snow, the sun was bright, so the blackout curtains were perfect.. Being met personally at the property made us feel instantly welcome. The hosts took the time to show us how everything worked, which we really appreciated. We’d mentioned that our daughter feels the cold, and they’d switched on both the underfloor heating and the air heating before we arrived so she’d be cosy from the moment we stepped in. That level of care meant a lot. Zorica and her husband have done a beautiful job with the house. It’s spotless, homely, and clearly looked after with pride. I loved the little breakfast tray they’d set out on the bed, such a sweet detail. You can tell they’ve really imagined what guests might need, because everything has been thought through. Even the light switches were labelled, which sounds small, but when you’re on a road trip staying in different places, it makes life so much easier, absolute genius. The bathroom was immaculate, the washing machine was a godsend, and the kitchen had all the essentials like cooking oil, salt, tea towels and much more, everything we think we needed was already there. Plus an oven! which is rare and brilliant when travelling with kids. The heating and air‑con system is honestly the poshest, shiniest unit I’ve ever seen, and with the underfloor heating the whole place felt incredibly cosy. After a long drive from Kotor, the welcome drinks were such a lovely surprise. It was Easter, and Zorica had left the kids a beautiful little Easter bunny display with snacks, another thoughtful touch that made us smile and feel welcome.

The only thing I would change is slightly bigger towels in the bathroom. The only thing I would suggest is that the clothes rail at the top of the stairs be changed to a built in clothes rail further back in the alcove, this would allow more standing room on the landing.

Good house, everything is fresh and new. Very friendly owners. We have everything what we need: towels,kitchen accessories,little things in the kitchen, everything is done thoughtfully and with love! Recommended

We enjoyed in every single thing of Vila Vuk and it’s surrounding! Amazing nature, peaceful, true vacation. House had everything we needed, kitchen is fully equipped, very nice decorated living room, rooms with big windows and a dreamy view, very comfortable beds. There is also outside furniture and barbecue. Our sincere recommendations!
