New luxury self-contained studio

Located on an old dairy farm and in a tiny village. Perfectly placed near the expressway for getting about.. Very relaxing and comfortable..

Das Cottage ist sehr hübsch und der Gastgeber sehr freundlich. Er war selbst bei unserem Aufenthalt nicht da, sondern im Urlaub.

Leider war es nicht besonders sauber, viele Spinnweben und tote Fliegen. Den Außenbereich könnten wir auch nicht nutzen da 3 große Hunde unterwegs waren und wir ein Kleinkind mit hatten.

The location, the hosts and the interesting spacious studio itself were all delightful. There was good parking space and a very pleasing garden.

The kitchen was the only real drawback. Significant food preparation was virtually impossible in the tiny space provided. This meant that the 'self-contained' aspiration of the studio was somewhat compromised.

Everything! It was completely perfect in every sense and the host could not have been more accommodating, the studio is gorgeous, the bed is one of the comfiest I’ve slept in, the grounds of the house are seriously wow and the host went above and beyond to make sure we had the most enjoyable stay and made sure we had everything as we were travelling with my newborn daughter. Also a shout out to their lodger who doubles as a taxi driver, he was a great communicator and made getting back each evening so much easier. I travel a lot and this is one of the best places I’ve ever booked, I very much hope to be back!

Beautiful studio space, gorgeous outdoor gardens, close walks to the historic castle grounds, countryside and local pub. Nice farm shop nearby and convenient to Hauser & Wirth gallery and Bruton.

Slightly dark interior (small windows) in terms of daylight. But that really didn’t matter as we didn’t spend very much time indoors during the day.

Wonderful location. The studio was very comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches: excellent toiletries, homemade loaf and preserves, good coffee and tea. The gardens were lovely. The village location is great and the local pub great for food. Justin and Gay were very friendly and helpful.

There wasn't anything. I would just say the kitchen/ pantry is very small and though well stocked is only for breakfast and small snacks preparation, but this didn't detract from our stay. There's plenty of places offering excellent food close by.

Perfect for a quiet getaway

The Studio is a good size for couples filled with character and charm with country living style touches, heavy drapes, a fireplace, stone floor alongside some modern additions. Views to the owners' garden though one of the doors was a morning pleasure with lots of birdsong. There was an outside area allocated to the Studio and we were also welcomed to sit in the owners' garden. Parking was in front and always available. Everything in the kitchen worked and having a Nespresso coffee maker with pods supplied was a bonus. Gay had left freshly baked bread, conserves, butter, milk and some biscuits. A nice touch and much appreciated. An ideal spot to spend a couple of days whilst exploring the area.
