Cozy Albany Home

As advertised it is a whole first-floor apartment with full kitchen, laundry, etc. in a safe residential mid-town neighborhood. It has the typical Colonial Albany charm, somewhat aged, and a little worn.

It is not fair to be too hard on this property given the excellent price/performance ratio. Yet, the place needs some care and updating. While we stayed people on the second floor and in the neighborhood had parties until am hours, which was inconvenient. The sofa had visible stains from spills, the remote control for the TV set was sticky to a degree that was not curable. The walls and doors had many patches and tape-overs. While nothing was dysfunctional, everything breathed the air of wear and tear. Cozy is a benevolent terms. Again, in all fairness, if you can stand the experience, it is a great price.

Nothing! Broke laws by not having smoke detectors. Smelled of animal urine. Did not have a crib after telling us they did. Pictures did not convey true accommodations.

Un appartement familial bien agencé dans un quartier proche des commerces et de restaurants très cotés, d'accès facile, y compris en transport public. L'équipement de l'appartement est simple et très confortable avec tout le nécessaire pour un séjour réussi dans la capitale de l'Etat de New-York.

C'est toujours étrange de n'avoir aucun contact humain dans ce genre de location. Du coup, un livret d'accueil, avec les informations nécessaires pour mettre en route le chauffage ou la climatisation serait un plus. De même, quelques suggestions sur les restaurants du quartier seraient bien pour les personnes qui découvrent la ville

The apartment was nicely renovated, but it’s a very old building, the ceiling was a bit squeaky and noisy from upstair neighbours despite them being as careful as they can.

Everything was great. Loved my stay.
