Lotus Pod House Homestay

There was supposed to be a parking space but it turned out that I had to leave the car on the road.To take a shower I had to go to the store to buy cleaning products and wash the bathtub because it was dirty. I found no one at home.They generally have trouble keeping the entire house clean. When someone enters the bathroom, the sound of birds is heard in the next room.

Overall it was quiet and peaceful. I liked the amount of books, they are literally everywhere and I like books

We did not even stay there, we paid out more money to stay somewhere else. It was dirty and there was no lock on the bedroom door.

Ron the host contacted me to check eta and info about his place which was very appreciative. I advised when we were almost there and he was outside his property to greet us. Made us feel very welcome. Ron showed us around the kitchen, bathroom and our room. We actually spent time with him chatting. Cooked our food we had bought and chilled. The bed was very comfortable. Suki the cat was so cute and liked alot of fuss. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

It's quiet and I feel relaxed. Ron is so accommodating. I will definitely come back there soon. Highly recommended

It was a brilliant experience unfortunately my contract finished today otherwise I would have loved to stay there longer. Host is brilliant rather brilliant would be an understatement.

There was parking outside. The room was clean I was given full access details There were pictures sent of the facilities in the kitchen to include Continental food available for breakfast

I was told my room would be ready after 7.00pm as the previous person had left quite late in the day and my bedding needed changing. I was more than a ittle concerned about the security of my room which had no lock. The house appears to be a HMO, which from what I saw was worrying as a single female travelller. I was staying in what clearly was a child's bedroom There was no facility such as a kettle or even a cup/glass for water. The bathroom is shared, with multiple male toiletries adding to the reason potentially a HMO The use of the kitchen is shared with other people staying there, of which I only saw one other person. I went down for breakfast to look for the food, asking if what was available was for me as it didn't look the same as shown in the pictures. I went to the fridge, looked for the bread and butter, usual stuff. The person in the kitchen said the food isn't for guests as each person staying there had their own cupboard and places to store food. I explained I was told there was breakfast available, which he didn't seem to know about. I packed and left I couldn't stay another night. There are takeaways available, but you hunt round the kitchen looking for cutlery and plates. Not ideal.

The fact it was a room in a family home..bathroom was 'unavailable' when I needed it. It was occupied for 40 mins!! I know children are not quiet and understood that they would make noise. But so early in the morning I felt it was unacceptable. Again I had to wait a long time for a bathroom. Not happy but served it's purpose.
