Everything was super excellent!! I would definitely recommend this place if you are staying in Akureyri.

The unit checkin time was 3 PM, and we arrived there at 5:30 PM after a long hectic day, but the unit was not ready. The reason given was that they had many units to clean. If they had informed us earlier, we could have planned that way. But there was no communication from them.

It was clean, and had modern interiors. We found it spacious for four adults, quiet and comfortable. We had a good rest.

A ladle may be a good addition in the kitchen.

Check-in was very easy. Our host sent us a message with the code to the key box and we could arrive anytime we needed. The apartment was large and while we didn't use the kitchen, it seemed well-equipped. The bathroom was remodeled and very nice. We also didn't use the clothes washer but it is available as well. The apartment location is convenient and quiet, parking was easy and free, and it was easy to find. Our host communicated very well there were no issues before, during, or after.

The only suggestion I can make is regarding the sleeping accommodations. The master bedroom bed is too soft and bouncy and the other two beds are too firm. The pillows were hard and big as well. We stayed two nights and unfortunately didn't get great sleep either night. Additionally, the entryway room doesn't have blackout curtains so whoever sleeps in the single bed that isn't in a bedroom will need to be okay with a lot of light. However, the curtains in the rest of the apartment were great!
