Palais Dar Donab

Palais Donab exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a luxurious and atmospheric escape that perfectly reflects the spirit of Marrakech. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in the city.

While the breakfast was amazing, the one dinner we had there was underwhelming and overpriced.

Unser Aufenthalt im Dar Donab hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Nur 5 Suiten, traumhaft ruhig, aber dennoch zentral. Sehr gutes und umfangreiches Frühstück und das schon ab 7 Uhr, so dass man früh loskommen kann. Wir sind zu allen Sehenwürdigkeiten gelaufen. Auch die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man hat sogar Liegebetten auf der privaten Terasse, was will man mehr. Von daher super empfehlenswert.

Im Zimmer waren die Möbel teilweise veraltet, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Der Pool ist im Restaurantbereich, das war jetzt nicht so unser Fall und wir haben ihn nicht genutzt.

Après un premier séjour en 2024 , très séduit par le palais Donab . j'ai réservé cette année les deux suites Yasmine et Royale pour séjourner une semaine avec ma femme ainsi qu'une belle sœur et son époux. Le charme du palais, l'amabilité et la prévenance de tous les personnels ainsi que la qualité du restaurant rendent le séjour merveilleux. Nous serions resté volontiers plus longtemps...

Je regrette la perte d'une chemise de qualité par l'entreprise chargée de la laver et la repasser.. bien que je dispose sur mon portable de la facture d'achat, le gérant de la laverie a refusé de me rembourser.me donnant en dédommagement 3 chemisettes de qualité médiocre sans col,, à manches courtes ...ce service est à fuir et j'espère que cette chemise sera retrouvée et me sera renvoyée.

Our stay at this beautiful and unique hotel in Marrakesh was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, the reception team made us feel at home—welcoming us with fragrant Moroccan tea, assisting with boarding pass printing, and offering genuine smiles throughout our stay. Their warmth set the tone for a peaceful and well-supported experience. The room was a sanctuary: tastefully decorated, quiet, and immaculately maintained. Housekeeping was consistently top-notch, with thoughtful touches that made us feel pampered. The pool was another highlight—crystal clear, refreshing, and perfect for unwinding after exploring the city. While the breakfast didn’t quite meet our expectations in terms of variety, the overall atmosphere and service more than made up for it. This hotel is a true gem—ideal for travelers seeking charm, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality in the heart of Marrakesh.

The hotel has only five rooms, and ours was exceptionally spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed... The property itself is lovely, and you’re truly spoiled with the quality and charm of the rooms... We stayed in three different Riads within the Medina, and this one was by far the nicest... Breakfast was generous and filling, providing more than enough energy to take on the souks for the morning...

The pool is located in the middle of the restaurant, which gets quite busy (and understandably so, as the food is very good)... However, it can feel a little uncomfortable using the pool with so many non-hotel guests around... Maybe not a negative although worth mentioning to future guests...

Es fehlt an einer Seele an diesem Ort. Als würde die beste Zeit hier vorbei sein.

This property is beautiful and the staff were lovely, helpful and efficient.

Unfortunately our room backed on to the hotel’s laundry facility and the staff would talk and laugh late into the night as they did the laundry which was disruptive. We had to ask that they keep quiet 3 days in a row before they seemed to understand that we could hear them and they were keeping us awake.
