Loughview Retreat in the Mournes

It was amazing, Colm and Maureen were great hosts. Everything I needed was there and it was spotlessly clean. Lots of little touches to just make it a home away from home. Any time I travel back to northern Ireland again I'll be sure to stay here. Thanks so much for making it a great weekend for myself. 100% recommended to everyone.

Lovely place to stay, very comfortable with Beautiful views and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

Maureen was very warm and inviting, providing lots of useful information about the accommodation and surrounding areas. The location was lovely with easy access to Newcastle, Tollymore, Castlewellan and the Mournes.

Fabulous view very clean and comfortable accommodation with everything provided. Wonderful hosts who were friendly and helpful. Location was excellent with very good bars and restaurants nearby.

There was nothing we didn't like, not one complaint

The Host, Maureen is a super host. She helped me and my family settle well in Northern Ireland. She picked us from the bus stop with our luggage, took us to the local market and other shoppings on different occasions with her car at no cost. The husband was also helpful in helping us get a car of our own and moving us to our rented apartment . They are guardian angels and our first family in Northern Ireland. The house is also super clean, serene and quiet. There was a park nearby i took my daughter to that was equally beautiful. I will recommend her lodge to everyone. Its the best short stay have used so far

lovely apartment little kitchen area, tea and coffee was supplied,clean and cosy had everything we needed. lovely views and lots of lovely walks around the area. a shop couple of minutes walk. the family were fantastic very friendly and helpful. will definitely stay at this property again our stay was perfect.
