I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Gaziantep. It truly has everything you need for a comfortable visit, but what makes it stand out is the incredible staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their warmth added so much to my trip and made the hotel feel like a home away from home. The location couldn’t be more perfect—close to all the main sights, delicious restaurants, and everything the city has to offer. The hotel itself is clean, cozy, and full of character, but it’s the people who make it truly special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Gaziantep!

La struttura ha due cortili interni, la nostra camera affacciava su quello piccolo, dove ci sono i motori rumorosissimi delle pompe di calore e due gatti che miagolavano ininterrottamente tutta la notte. La stanza di notte diventava calda e umida, come tutte quelle in cui abbiamo dormito presso palazzi storici, anche in altre città. Il personale é disponibile ma non é facile comunicare e se volete andare a Rumkale con i mezzi pubblici non seguite le loro indicazioni ma cercate su Moovit gli orari del K70.

I had booked for three nights but left after the first. I didn’t get a room as shown on the fotos. They told me they were fully booked and wanted to take me to another hotel which I declined as it had bad reviews. Then they offered me a very small dark and dirty room (bathroom: open shower above the toilet), I declined and they cancelled the booking altogether. I booked somewhere else instead which was lovely. Otherwise the hotel seems nice, has a great courtyard and friendly staff (especially Mahmut in the evening).

Everything was very good overall, although we received a completely different room than the one we had booked and paid for. The staff offered to change it the next day, but since we only had one more night left, we decided to stay where we were. The hotel is a bit old and could use some refreshing, but the location is excellent — you can easily walk everywhere. Breakfasts are fine, tasty, and typical for the region. However, all the minor inconveniences were completely outweighed by Mahmt Uzar, a hotel staff member who welcomed us like close family. We spent two wonderful evenings with him, full of great conversations, warmth, and kindness. Thanks to his care, big heart, and genuine hospitality, all other shortcomings simply stopped mattering. 💖 For his kindness, warmth, and the joy of his company, we give this hotel a full 10 points!

The buildings were separated and the key for the main entrance was not given, so every time when we needed to enter, we had to ring the bell so that someone from the staff could open it
