Domus Clelia Paestum Antica Luxury rooms

The location! Our room had a perfect view of the Temple of Athena. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and very flat so it’s easy to pull your bag, too. Exceptional customer service, extremely comfortable beds, excellent restaurant downstairs and great coffee in the morning. They also held our bags for a few hours the day we checked out so we could see the museum. If you’re here for the temples, this is where you want to be. Highly recommend!

There is a lively establishment next door and it is busy until 2-3 am on the weekend we were there in early April. Be aware if you’re noise sensitive.

The location is superb...our room faced a temple across the street. The staff, especially Mario and Enza, were great. Very nice property. Great restaurant.

My husband and I spent two glorious nights at Domus Clelia Paestum Antica Luxury rooms in early March 2024. Our room was very beautiful with a view of the Athena Temple from our balcony. The decor was exquisite throughout the hotel, lounge area, and restaurant. We had breakfast twice at the cafe and the pastries were scrumptious. The service was fantastic, the staff well trained and happy to take care of their guests. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were perfect. We had a wonderful time in Paestum because of our stay at Domus Clelia and recommend that you stay there, too!

The place was clean, and a good value. The hostess was sweet....typing into her phone to translate for us. I booked it entirely so I could see the Temple of Athena from our bedroom. Check out the shot from our balcony.

We went in the off season (February) and were the only guests. Most things are shut down, but the museum and park are open. Finding the door to get in was a challenge. It is down the building alley with a small sign.

The views of the temple of Athena from the room is extraordinary.

Very nice room with view of the temple of Athena Large, good aircon, comfortable, large bathroom Staff very nice and helpful, although complete lack of english was a bit surprising, but we managed with our very limited Italian! :)
