Room felt unfinished and dirty - grotty floor, bird poo all over balcony, bathroom had other peoples hair in it Sea view could only be seen from the filthy balcony, poorly advertised, breakfast terrible

Gentillesse de la responsable de l’hôtel, propreté , calme, accès facile à l’animation de la ville en Tuk Tuk.

Dommage on voit peu la mer de la piscine , sauf si on tourne le dos à la piscine . Arbres poussent un peu trop. La plage derrière :,des cailloux , pas très propre . Mais bon rapport qualité prix , efficace comme hôtel.

We had a corner room which looked over the pool and the sea, bathroom had lovely walk in shower.

20 minute walk into Mirissa, not an issue for us but will be for others. A lot of food wastage at breakfast time, bringing a lot of food out that wasn’t going to get eaten by two of us. Ie 8 slices of toast, some fish and some corn fritters. We didn’t ask for any of it, it just comes out.

It is right beside the beach. Conveniently located. 150m from the Colombo Matara A2 main road. The staff was super friendly, especially Hirushini. I was with a group of 21 very difficult people. Hirushini handled them very well.

Road leading to the hotel is alright for small cars and vans. But, for a bigger bus it is not enough. It's nothing to do with the hotel but the people who live on that road

The view was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Totally overpriced for what you get. The food is dire - especially dinner options, the WiFi barely loads a Google search or sending a message, the water pressure is non existent and there’s rubbish littered on the beach as you walk out of the gate by the pool. Zero value for money and would recommend anywhere else but here unless you are looking for very pleasant staff.

Location was superb and room was clean. Air conditioning was not up to the mark and their service needs to be improved.

The staff was very rude and didnt provide the basic facilities even the drinking water for kids they closed in night and and went away from the property and disnt pick up calls we were left alone there with no one to cater us if need anything even they disnt bother to inform us that they are leaving after locking everything when we checked the other open vacate rooms for water they said you are thief and did shameful act and arguing unnecessary and didnt admit their mistake. cleaning was done in 2 days and rooms linens were smelling Bathroom locks not working Main door latches broken the balcony glass not working Pathetic situation everywhere

Living in front of the ocean. Good beds, pillows, and white sheets. A/C work well, small fridge work good and quietly. Staff helps with luggage without asking. Perfect surf site in front of the hotel.

Dust at reception desk. Elevator is under construction. Cleaning is work on request. Staff doing they work as fast as they can but it looks like shortcoming of staff. It's not good idea to burn garbage in front of the ocean every evening. It looks like calm place but one night people sign a songs with drums at the beach till 2:00, and the second one was pool party till 23:00.

Mirissa is a lovely place. This resort is right on the beach . There's very good ocean view from the room. Ours was on second floor . The rooms are spacious and adequately furnished. The staff is friendly, helping and very hard working . They do their best to meet your needs with limited resources at their disposal . The swimming pool is nice and clean. Lobby and Restaurant space is spacious . Overall cleanliness is maintained. AC works well. The breakfast is basic but good and was served on table.

The property , despite having excellent location and well laid building plan doesn't have an elevator installed for its four storeys ( Ground +3). A hardworking staff member shifts the luggage up and down through the staircase. The property for its size is seriously understaffed. It generally affects the quality of the experience and puts limitations on the services offered. Laundry quality of the towels was not satisfactory.

The location

The breakfast is too little for one and they have a set limited breakfast. There is an old guy who tends to kill your vibe with only negative answers to requests and a frown on his face 24/7. All the other staff members are nice
