Cabin in beautiful countryside with private lake

Just returned from the most perfect weekend get away. The lodge is perfection! We arrived late to a warm, welcoming environment with the hot tub ready for use and a lovely welcome pack. Communicate prior to our arrival was excellent. The location is very private and picturesque (we enjoying watching the goats) and not too far from Askern if we needed anything. The dog loved the adventure and my partner was able to fish his heart out whilst I enjoyed the hot tub! The lodge was clean and well equipped. The bedding was heated and very comfortable. We hope to return

Superbly private location; very peaceful and so quiet. Lots of space outside for dogs to explore. Hot tub a real treat, which was ready for use when I arrived. Thank you too for the welcome package, which was a really lovely surprise. Owner responded promptly when I had trouble accessig WiFi. Easy to find everything in the kitchen area, and easy to use TV and electric fire too. Loved outdoor lighting too. I didn't realise that I could swim in the lake, nor that there was fishing too, which would add extra to the experience. I didn't need the BBQ but it was clearly available if I had wanted to try using it.

Some aspects are a bit "tired"; the sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable and at the front the base was broken and so it was impossible to keep the "flap" upright (despice a couple of long screws which had been used to try and solve this). Carpet behind sofa was wet (probably from people walking in/out when using the hot tube) and so was the floor area, which made it a bit dangerous with bare feet. There are no signs to Moss Carr Farm on Haywood Lane, which makes it a bit of a challenge to find,, and the cabin is on a lane marked "private" so a sign would be helpful here too.
