Large town centre apartment with parking

Good location for us being close to family members who live in the town. Parking place very close, we were able to leave our car there for the two days. Good joining instructions. Fairly well equipped although we didn’t spend long enough in the flat to test it out! Bed was comfortable and clean.

As mentioned before by a previous guest, some new mugs would be well received! There were 3 but one was badly cracked at the bottom (throw it away!), and one other badly stained. Issue of bedding un-bagged, under the bed still not rectified. Listen to feedback, these are minor issues so easily rectified at little expense! Water pressure in the shower is very low. Very difficult washing shampoo out! A couple of hooks behind the bathroom door would be so useful for hanging up a towel and bathrobe! Joining instructions were good but unfortunately, although asking 3 times, we did not get a response about a slightly earlier check in time which was disappointing.

Directions and information about parking, entry etc all great, I’d have struggled without those precise instructions. Location was great for the amenities around (1 min walk to Waitrose) and the town centre shops etc. Parking spaces close by and easy to use Apartment building felt safe and secure, the apartment itself was well enough equipped for short stay. Heating and hot water worked well.

WiFi was exceptionally poor, had to hot spot off mobile to work on my laptop, only use data services on mobile, tv only offered WiFi services and this buffered continually so unwatchable for the most part. Bedroom backs onto another apartment & there’s very little noise insulation between the apartments. Lounge etc is above shops below so that was fine as they were closed when I was there. Flat felt like more like staying in someone’s vacated home than a professional offering, an eclectic mix of kitchen equipment, only two random mugs, one of which was heavily used (coffee stained) cutlery offering the same & there was leftover food in fridge / freezer. Then spare bedding /duvet shoved under the bed (needs to at least be in a bag) and other random bits just lying around, so I did some tidying up / away whilst I stayed!
