A Tee Guesthouse

The location was good, 10 minute walking from the night market. Around the area, there were differents places to have breakfast. They had hot and cold water avalable for coffee and tea. The staff was super friendly!

Proper hot water shower! Large room. WiFi worked. The older man booked me a minivan to the train station and let me keep my bags at reception all day when I checked out.

Uncomfortable mattress - could feel the springs. The older man was good but I didn't even know the young guy worked there until he was told to clean the room, he was always on his phone, I thought he was a guest.

Liked everything. Nice, cozy, spacious and clean room with a nice view, nice terrace with even better view. And simply excellent staff! Helped me to repair my broken shoe too, on top of everything else :D . Warmly recommended!

Only (small) minus: no fridge in the room. But not a big issue, there was cold water available for free 24/7 in the reception Also cold beer sold in the reception 24/7, with very reasonable price (same price as in the stores).

Bed was fairly comfy, price was good.

Owner came into my room while I was in it at one point and spent a couple of minutes telling me I should lock the door repeatedly, which I found odd and mildly alarming. Getting in late at night was difficult, gate and door were locked shut, there was a guy sleeping in reception but no amount of knocking would wake him up. Owners eventually heard and came out to let me in.

The price was $12 on booking, when I was ready to pay in KIP, local currency the owner said I have to pay in dollars, if not he can take the money in KIP but with an exchange rate 10% higher than it was on internet that day.
