Casa do Alfaiate

Casa muito acolhera e confortável, muito bem decorada e com todas as comodidades. Limpeza excecional e anfitriões muito prestáveis. Sentimo-nos em casa!

Nada a apontar.

Todo muy limpio y muy nuevo. Con todo lujo de detalles en toda la casa. Estuvimos muy a gusto. Hicimos barbacoa y tenía disponible el el carbón, el desayuno muy bien con leche normal y sin lactosa, pedimos leche de soja y sin problema ninguno nos la facilitaron

Por decir algo que en la cocina debería haber más luz

The owners, Rui and Lisete, provided so many extras! We arrived to a bowl of fruit on the table, a box of pastries, a pantry stocked with milk, juice, jams, butter, a large bottle of water, and a basket of fresh eggs from Rui's dad's chickens. Rui picked us some lemons off the lemon tree and we used the juicer provided to make fresh lemon juice. Rui's mother brought us a basket of breads and croissants and oranges in the morning for breakfast. The hosts and their parents were so personable and friendly!!! The apartment retains it's original flood beams from 1947, where Rui's grandfather ran a tailor shop. The floors are sloping alot in places and the entrances to some rooms are low getting through the door ( my tall hubby soon discovered he needed to duck), but it is very comfortable! The kitchen is small but very well equipped ( although very small frypan in case you are planning a large frypan meal in the stove). Plenty of very nice dishes, cutlery, large baking dishes. There is heating in the bedrooms, but not in other parts of the apartement like the living room and kithcen. We plugged in a small portable heater we had brought in the living room. The bed was very comfortable with lots of blankets. As our car was too big for the small garage, Rui's father opened the gate to his property adjacent to the rental for us to park in there.

I can't think of a single thing that could improve our experience here! I really hope we can make it back to Casa do Alfaiate next year!

great amenities, coffee, bread, eggs, fruits, cheese, cereal, yogurt internet tv with apps, Netflix, hbo etc quiet village very close to Fundao center, coffee shop across the street nice rooftop terrace with views from the Gardunha and Estrela

Amazing hosts, spotless and all updated home, fresh bread in the morning with everything you could possibly want for breakfast, roof top deck, fully equipped kitchen, Mountain View’s from every window, comfortable and cozy
