CAFrom start to finish this was a great stay.. The communication with staff was spot on. It was easy to find with Vinico's assistance. Great location, close to train/bus, groceries, that's a 30 min walk away. However, the views, beach below etc. were worth the little extRa distance from town. A few great restaurants nearby. Clean, big, comfortable, well equipped. Well run and professional service. One of our favorite spots over 6 weeks in Italy.

The walk to Vico Equense is along a road that does not have pavements all the way. We elected to drive or get taxis. The property is also not suitable for wheelchair users as is located up a steep path with steps but thankfully that didn't affect us or our stay.

DKNever seen a view as beautiful as this! Pictures do not justify the real life experience. The house is very interesting and authentic, and Andrea, Pina and Luna (sweetest dog) are really nice and accommodating hosts. We were served pizza and champagne on our second day and was also offered to attend dinner next day. Andrea likes a good chat and has many stories to tell! The pool was super clean and available at all times, which we really appreciated since temperatures was extremely high. We would definitely visit Villa La Galetta again!
Nothing bad, but nice to know beforehand: - it is a bit hard to find, but if you look for the big blue neon light “Capo La Gala” it is right on top. The house is located between Bikini Ristorante and Hotel Capo La Gala, on top of the tunnel - breakfast is not served at Villa La Galetta, but on the other side of the road at Oasi. It is Italian breakfast (croissant and coffee) - Hosts are staying at the house too, so if you like being social and meeting new people this is a very good choice - there is no supermarket or minimarket close by (unless you go by car). Closest is Vico Equense which is a 5-10 minutes drive or 30-40 minutes walk - beach (stones, not sand) is close by, but it is private so you have to pay for sunbeds and umbrella. Closest free beach is approx 1 km away - there is a dog named Luna. She is friendly, quiet and likes a good scratch on her back - house and location is not suitable for disabled, as you have to walk a narrow and steep path to get to the house
