No swimming pool , no mirror in the bathroom , we checked in around 8.00pm and it was dark , outside lights were off

Kitchen island bench in terrible condition and needs replacing.

The house is in a great location and the grounds are beautiful.

The house is dirty, decor is outdated, miss matched and uncomfortable, but most of all the cost does not match the experience. This is the most I have ever paid for a nights stay and is one of the worst accommodation I have stayed in. The other locations on the South Island have been around $250 a night for more comfortable, cleaner and equally lovely locations. When I called Book Tekapo to be moved to a different house, even one with 2 or 3 bedrooms, they said ‘tough luck’. Horrible service and the last time I use book.com or Book Tekapo.

Location was outstanding, walking distance to the lake and church

House needs a good maintenance Facility was old and cookware was not clean Floor and carpet was dirty, our clean indoor slippers turned black after a day A lot of the seasoning have expired Tv controller doesn’t have battery and PS5 does not have a cable.

The location is superb, with beautiful views of the church and Lake Tekapo from the lounge. The gardens are very beautifully manicured.

Would have been great to have some boardgames on the property and access to the indoor pool!

I would like to ask if you are a platform or a hotel manager? You have a great responsibility for such a house on booking. This is a very bad experience! Let us reflect the situation. Room 1 and 1 carpets or bed sheets have very bad smell. Maybe this room is rarely used, there is mold, and I feel sore throat when I sleep in the room. In the end, I chose to sleep on the sofa in the living room. 2. There are no curtains on the top of the two skylights on the top of room No. 3, which will be very bright at night and in the morning, which will affect sleep. And a lot of lights are not on. 3. The TV in the living room cannot watch the program, which is useless! 4. The carpet and the items in each room are very old! The smell is very bad. I would like to return the accommodation fee.

Location was best. Property and the surrounding was good overall. Beds were very good.

Could have been more clean...detailed cleaning needed. Some of the light bulbs were not working.
