Green Valley Homestay - Thung Lũng Xanh

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation, and they helped us with anything we needed. A very beautiful place.

Breakfast not incredible but okay

The owner of this property was exttremely nice and accomodating. I was in town for a wedding and was upgraded to suite 6, which had an great view of the mountains and water. I ordered Pho Ga ( chicken ) for breakfast and it was probably the best Ive ever had in Vietnam, Also, when I was leaving, I found a puppy in the street that had been hit by a car. The owner and his staff were very sweet and agreed to take care of it because I had to leave. Not their responsibilty at all, but I really apreciated it. I would 110% stay here again. Room 6 is the best FYI.

Peaceful and tranquil stay for a couple of nights, but also close enough to easily get to all the attractions.

Beautiful place, very picturesque and quiet, in the nature. The air-conditioning worked well, as the water heater in the bathroom. The host was wonderful, friendly, and helpful with everything! The crepe - not pancake, as they called it - breakfast was nice and the other food we had there was good too. The bed was fairly clean, even though not the most comfortable mattress.

The rooms weren't very clean, including the bathrooms. Same with the swimming pool, which wasn't too inviting so we didn't use it. We did see them cleaning it, bit still... Cutlery, plates, glasses, dining tables, and chairs in the common area also not very clean; we had to clean everything ourselves with tissue papers.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Green Valley Homestay in Tràng An. We were traveling via sleeper bus to the homestay and arrived way before check-in time. Vuong was so kind to prepare a breakfast for us and lend us some bikes to cruise around the area in the meanwhile. We took the opportunity to make a boat tour in Trang An, which I highly can recommend! Apart from that you can easily reach most of the attractions ninh binh has to offer by motorbike. The homestay itself is quite and located slightly off from the bustling tourist hotspots, which was perfect for us. The rooms are quite nice and the surrounding is lovely decorated with lights. Voung is quite a fun person and loves to share some good stories mostly via GoogleTranslate. He also rented us some scooter and helped us to call a taxi. We loved our stay here and can highly recommend it. Oh, and try some goat dish it's delicious 😉

Nothing to complain

Place is so nice and magical - you can spend some time in the middle of nowhere with water and mountains around you. So cool! They also have really good restaurant with huge variety of dishes.

It was hard to communicate with people that own this property due to the language barrier (they use translation in phone). Swimming pool wasn’t the cleanest one.

The (co)owner is a really nice guy and is a fantastic cook! Everything i've had that he made was really tasty. On the last night he even invited me to drink and eat a meal with him and another staff - he served fresh goat and fish caught that day from the pond! One of, if not the, best meals I've had in vietnam - and its really like home cooking.
