Pondok Kaja Kauh

We stay at this villa for 30 days. The villa itself and the view from it was amazing as it surrended by mountains and the lake batur is just few meters away. The pool was large enough for swimming but the weather is cooler there so we couldn't really use it. The villa is spacious, 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms. No mosquito at the property. The owner was very active for any request, from firewoods for barbecue to driving us to the mall in ubud. If you really want to experience the real Balinese life it's a place for you

Many troubles with water in the villa, very old or no facilities at all from the chicken to the bathroom. The location is a small village with almost nothing for tourists. No shops nor car or bike rental or delivery. to buy any poultry you have to drive more than an hour in one way

There is no better place for a family vacation- wish I stayed longer! Fantastic space with stunning lake and mountain views- not far from main road or convenience stores by car. You can go kayaking in the morning nearby!

Took a little time to figure out the stove. You also have to watch out for the flies! But the flies are an overall Kintamani thing because of agriculture- and they are small and inconsequential

lovely and peaceful location, near to mount batur. views are exceptional. has fridge, cutleries, water heater.

living room carpet did not seem like it was vacuumed beforehand.

Excellent location with a great view and fresh mountain air every day.

Too many flies constantly coming from surroundings that we need to choose either open the house door and windows for fresh air inside or close them due to lots of flies. I wish the owner installed sort of extra wire mesh on the windows and door or around the front gazebo to allow fresh air but prevent flies from coming in. We could not stay for too long in the front garden (again, becaus of too many flies). The washing machine was broken and unreliable. This feature should not me mentioned as available if the machine unusable.
