Oasis Pai Resort

This is budget accommodation, well situated near to the centre of town. The hosts were super friendly and the bedroom was sufficiently clean and comfortable. The rooms are separate little shacks, which is a nice touch. We arrived late in the evening and the hosts were good enough to leave our keys in our door. Overall, the room did its job. It was a safe, comfortable bed to sleep in at the end of our daily Pai adventures. My only real grumble is over the cold shower. Everything else was sufficient for the price we paid, and the hosts have our thanks.

The facilities are basic, with very few furnishings in the room. But the price reflects this. The bathroom is unpleasant to be in and is in need of renovation. The shower was luke warm at best, which was not hot enough considering how cool it gets at night. The advertised 'riverside view' is a farmer's field, though this is also nice to look at. Our room had its own little veranda, but one surrounded by broken concrete and unkept land.

There is no division between the shower and the rest of the bathroom. The floor never really dried when we were there...

So much to like about this place! Firstly, the family is super accommodating and welcoming. Su even called me just after I left to let me know I'd forgotten something which was very appreciated. The location is also great, just far enough from the town centre to be peaceful and quiet, but only a 20 minute walk away from all the action and nightlife Pai has to offer. The room was very clean, and while basic, was comfortable and had everything I needed. Also the shared kitchen, free coffee, fruit, and other items, was much appreciated!

Possibly some minor details could be improved, and being a fairly new place I know the owners are working at making this already great place to stay even better.

So good I stayed longer. Lovely family owned place. Quiet at night. Pretty close to town.

Peaceful location not far from the town center.Extremely kind and helpful English speaking host couple,easy and prompt communication.They even took me to the bus station for free.Clean room with nice green views and complete privacy since the window doors faced a field and forest.Good wifi and shower.Kettle,fridge,kitchen ware,tea,coffee, drinking water,fruits available for free in the common outdoor kitchen.

Pricey,poorer value than most of my accomodations in Thailand this December,but then again I got the impression that Pai is expensive and I actually maybe got good value in the context of Pai in peak season.Minor things:I didn't like the brown sheets and thin,synthetic towel,and missed a bedside table.

Great little place hidden in the centrr of Pai. The hosts were really really helpful and sweet. Really recommend staying here, you’re getting a lot of value for your money!
