"Brief but enjoyable"

Very unique place to stay and fun ammenities. Very friendly hosts.

Wall mounted A/C unit doesn't cool as well as hoped during high temps. A bit of a drive to food... not walkable.

Host provided breakfast and milk. It has some kitchen utensils and kettle for hot tea and coffee. Home is a retro home style with models cars and Betty Boop figurate

No restaurant or connivence store around The front entrance has a yellow Dodge sign but will easily missed if not pay attention to.

"My Oasis is top notch"

Everything, the owners are from Australia, I'm going by the accent. I heard that Australian people were very nice and extremely happy to make sure I was comfortable. Thank you for the great bed, and time to sleep. I was a truck driver driving a tanker to deliver fuel to stations all over Cali. I slept behind the steering wheel. I had throat cancer (Barrett's esophagus) and it is almost impossible to get to sleep without sitting up. (GERD)

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

We had a fantastic stay at My Oasis. Very interesting room with so much memorabilia to look at. Michael took me through everything when we arrived and made sure we were comfortable. I can highly recommend My Oasis for a stay in Bakersfield. Wayne and Jess
