Sunsets on Beach Strand

The hosts were very friendly, communicated proactively, and were very detailed about the check-in/check-out processes. This made it very easy to check in and check out. The apartment is amazing - on the 10th floor, with a view over the bay. It is modern and fully equipped, with an inverter should there be loadshedding. Access control throughout the property and building makes it super safe.

- Finding long dark hair on towels that should be clean and all over the bathroom floor (my hair is blonde). - The two fans (pedestal fans) could use a clean. Turning them on will result in a puff of dust and flare up allergies/asthma.

What’s not to love about staying at the Sunsets on Beach apartment? From waking up and opening the impressive sunblock blinds with a remote from my bed and then having the entire Strand Bay at my feet from the 11th floor, every moment felt like a dream. Making breakfast while overlooking the ocean was simply unforgettable. The apartment has been refurnished with the finest finishes any heart could desire. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with small essentials like Tupperware, black refuse bags, cling wrap, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets etc —these little touches were truly appreciated and saved me a lot of money. We felt completely safe, with all doors secured by access tags and undercover, locked-up parking. My teenagers also commented that the wifi was really good! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we’re already missing our little paradise in the Western Cape. Thank you to Ashley and the team for a wonderful stay!
