Urbanstay Sokcho beach C

The location of the accommodation is between the Express Bus Stop and beach with both less than a five minute walk away. Communication was via messaging and worked very well with the host responding personally within 5-10 minutes to solve a TV problem resulting in a room change immediately. When I pressed the wrong/too many buttons on the washing machine, I could not unlock/open the door despite repeated attempts. The issue was resolved whilst we were out with no fuss. We used the local buses, diagonally across the road from the express bus station, to conveniently and cheaply to get to Seoraksan National Park for hiking and sightseeing.

Not a lot. There is no information regarding the cleaning products that we, as Australians, are not familiar with, e.g. disposable dishwashing 'cloths' and the lack of a tea towel for the kitchen relying on paper towels to dry washed dishes etc.

Great location, close to the bus station and to the beach. The apartment was quite spacious, clean and had everything we needed.

It's a little bit difficult to find - there is no clear sign with the hotel name and you have to enter an elevator directly from a parking lot. We were lucky because some other guests showed the entrance to us, otherwise we would have probably struggled.

As a 3 people family we‘ve stayed for 4 nights. We enjoyed the sea view and used the good equipped kitchen. Checkin directly from the street into the elevator was easy. The place is next to the express bus station and has everything for tourism.

Beds were a bit hard for us. Unfortunately we missed some chairs and tables at the balcony.

The biggest positive of this Airbnb is its location. It's directly across the road from the beach, making it a great base for beach days, costal walks, and hiking in the surrounding area.

Unfortunately, the accommodation didn't live up to the expectations set by the listing photos. The apartment felt much more dated and worn than advertised, and lacked the modern beachside feel we were expecting. While the photos suggest a fresh and contemporary space, the reality was quite different. The bed was uncomfortable, and the bedding had an unpleasant texture. The view overlooked a large car park.

Nice views. Comfortable bed. Great location.

Would have been good to have a few teabags and some washing detergent. Also a clear instruction as to how to enter the building.
